There are three groups of people who are considered as helpless immigrants. The first group is those who were brought here and sold as slaves. The second group of immigrants came as a result of a natural disaster in their homeland. The last group came to join other relations already here.
In the time of Caesar and the Romans, the Arab s went to Africa and brought back native people to act as slaves to build their monuments. A good example is the pyramids. In time, these slaves were imported to the Western world and eventually to America.
An example of the people who came as a result of a natural disaster is the Irish. The potato famines forced people to find a new place in which to survive and thrive.
As time when by, people here in America brought or welcomed their relatives here. War brides were another example of relatives coming to America.
In the present day, like me, came as adventurers and due to political reasons in Africa. My father had planned to have a new venture there, but it did not work out. I came to America and helped my relatives to come as well. This was the fulfillment of my adventure.
